And now the catch

That statement sits behind two nested panels. You have to open one field and, inside it, a second, before it appears.

Read the page normally and you will not find it. Save the page and you do not have it. And in the data sheet behind the page, from which search engines and comparison services draw their details, no origin field is filled.

Arket is therefore a model case for this site’s core problem: the disclosure exists in full and still reaches almost nobody. Not because it is missing, but because it sits where no one looks.

Three brands, one answer

It becomes notable next to the sister brands. H&M likewise names factory, address and workforce size on a €14.99 shirt. & Other Stories does the same.

Three brands of the same group, the same disclosure at the same depth. At LVMH we found the opposite: eleven houses, eleven different answers.

That is the evidence for a sentence that would otherwise sound like an assertion — the owner does not decide disclosure, the sales system does. At H&M everything runs on the same platform.
