The brand whose product is the price
H&M is the label the group is named after and the one with the lowest prices. Unlike Lacoste or Trigema, where construction or origin carries the offer, here the price itself is the offer. That is legitimate — and it makes the composition line the most important information available, because there is no other.
Six brands, one list
The H&M Group also owns COS, ARKET, Weekday, Monki and & Other Stories. They trade with their own shops and their own look, which is why our directory lists them separately. Their production disclosure, however, comes from one source: the group’s public supplier list with factory name, address and product type.
There is a clear price gap between the cheapest and the dearest house in the group — and no published material figure that explains it.
What the list achieves
A factory list is more than most houses publish, and it counts accordingly in our evidence score. But it answers a different question from the one buyers usually ask. Where a garment was sewn is on the list; how good the fabric is, is not — that would take a fabric weight per product, and the group does not publish one.
