How much this brand discloses, and how much of it we could verify. It is not a quality rating — a composition line cannot tell you how good a fabric is. How we calculate it

  • Production disclosure 25/25
  • Linked sources 16/20
  • Own material check 0/15
  • Fabric weight stated 0/12
  • Country stated per product 0/10
  • Construction detail stated 0/10

Evidence for the price About what this price band usually documents

The statement

A knitted t-shirt in pure cotton, €59. The product page reads:

Mainland China
FUJIAN WANJIAMEI TEXTILE CLOTHING CO.,LTD
6 Textile Park, Taocheng Yongchun, 362600 Quanzhou
505 employees

Country, company name, full address, size of the facility. For this piece, not for the range.

And a detail that is easily missed: the same factory also appears on the H&M Group’s public supplier list. The statement on the product and the list in the corporate section line up — a connection that was missing everywhere else. At Levi's, Mango and Jack & Jones both halves exist, but no bridge.

Why the luxury segment lacks this

The comparison is uncomfortable and still fair, because it asks the same question.

Céline: nothing at $4,650. Loewe: nothing at €4,300. Louis Vuitton: three countries to choose from at €6,700.

Here: company, street, workforce, at fifty-nine euros.

That does not mean one set of goods is better than the other. It means disclosure has nothing to do with price — and that a house which stays silent does not do so for want of means.

And still invisible to machines

The details load only in the browser. In the data sheet behind the page no origin field is filled.

Anyone comparing brands automatically sees the same here as at a brand that says nothing: nothing. It is the same finding as at Arket, H&M and nearly all the others.

Where the disclosure ends

Whether every item carries these details. We checked one piece.

Conditions at the named factory. We were not there, and an address says nothing about them.

Which factories on the group list belong to this brand. The list carries no brand column.

How we checked

We went through the product page and the group list by hand on 30 July 2026, opening every collapsible panel individually. All quotations appear in the original wording.
