Emilio Pucci
An unspectacular page, and useful for exactly that reason: it shows the norm against which the outliers can be measured.

Two pages, the same statement
We looked at a shirt in the Vivara print at €790 and a dress with an orchid print and cape at €1,800. Both give Italy as the country of manufacture.
That is the most common form of disclosure in this segment: a country name, plainly visible, with no further breakdown. It is more than the silence of Céline and less than the supplier list of Fendi — both in the same group.
Checking two items was not incidental. At Frederic's and Mango it turned out that the statement can vary from piece to piece. Here it does not.
What a country name does not say
“Made in Italy” is a statement about a country of sixty million people. Which facility sews, which steps actually happen there, under what conditions — none of that appears.
For comparison within the same theme: Velasca names the town of Montegranaro for its shoes, Natalino names Naples and Florence. Both are country statements, only more precise.
We found no supplier list on the brand’s pages. Where the silk and cotton come from is not stated either.
About the house
Founded in 1947 in Florence by Marchese Emilio Pucci di Barsento, known for geometric silk prints — Vivara, Labirinto, Orchidea, Iride — and for early stretch sportswear.
LVMH held 67 per cent from 2000 and has been sole owner since June 2021. Creative direction has been with Camille Miceli since September 2021.
How we checked
We went through both product pages by hand on 30 July 2026, opening every collapsible panel individually. The shirt carries item number 6HRJ266H840021 and is stated as 100% cotton, the dress number 6HRI326H731029 at 100% silk.

A garment is made across several countries. The label almost always names only one of them. Which one, and what falls away in the process.
We asked twenty brands across four groups the same question: does the product page say where the item was made? The answer has nothing to do with price — and that is the real story.
Questions readers ask
Where is Emilio Pucci made?
The two product pages we checked on 30 July 2026 state “Made in Italy”. Which business stands behind it does not follow from that.
Who owns Emilio Pucci?
LVMH, wholly. The group held 67 percent from 2000 and acquired the remaining 33 percent from the Pucci family in June 2021.
What is the house known for?
Intensely coloured geometric silk prints — archive patterns such as Vivara, Labirinto, Orchidee and Iride — and early stretch sportswear, including the one-piece ski suit.
Who designs today?
Camille Miceli, since September 2021.
